Before You File — Check These

Update processing takes 5—15 working days. Track status at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/CheckAadhaarStatus using your URN/SRN. If beyond 15 days, file a complaint.
You can download your e-Aadhaar anytime from myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar/en using your Aadhaar number or EID. Or retrieve your EID/UID if forgotten.
Enrolments can be rejected due to duplicate biometrics or invalid documents. Visit the nearest Aadhaar centre with fresh, valid documents for re-enrolment.
Check if your mobile number is registered with UIDAI. If not registered, visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra to add/update mobile number with biometric verification.
Ask them to verify at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verifyAadhaar. If they still refuse, file a grievance against that specific service provider with UIDAI.
Track using SRN at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/checkStatus/en. If dispatched but not delivered, contact India Post with the consignment number shown in tracking.
